Ministry of Law strengthens bilateral ties on the side of Singapore Convention Signing Ceremony and Conference

  1. Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law Mr K Shanmugam, SC and Senior Minister of State for Law Mr Edwin Tong, SC met with Malaysia’s Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Legal Affairs) Datuk Liew Vui Keong and reaffirmed the close and long-standing bilateral legal relations between Singapore and Malaysia.

  2. Bilateral meetings were also held with Georgia’s Minister of Justice Thea Tsulukiani, Hungary’s Deputy State Secretary for Cooperation in International Justice Affairs Zoltan Nemessanyi, Iran’s Minister of Justice Seyed Ali Reza Avaei, Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister for Political System, Interior & Foreign Policy and Minister of Justice Zoran Pažin, Republic of Korea Vice Minister of Justice Kim Oh Su, Serbia’s State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice Radomir Ilić, Sierra Leone’s Deputy Minister of Justice Umaru Napoleon Koroma, Timor-Leste’s Minister of Justice Manuel Cárceres da Costa, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Justice Makhmud Istamov, and Vietnam’s Deputy Director-General of International Law Department Pham Ho Huong, where we reaffirmed our warm relations with these countries.
